support group facilitators

A mix of paid and volunteer community members run our support groups. We provide a stipend for the trans facilitators of our youth and child support groups. If you are interested in becoming a facilitator, please contact us to see where we need more help.

Our Board

Transforming Families’ board is comprised of 10 members. Here are a few of those wonderful people. For more information on our board, please contact us.

Jess Edwards (she/her)

I have seen firsthand how support and community truly make a difference (and are SO needed) in the lives of trans kids and their families--and this is exactly the work TFF is doing in real and impactful ways every day.

Anne (she/her)

Anne works in the nonprofit world after many years in education. As a queer human and mother of gender expansive kids, she is a passionate advocate for LGBTQ+ rights, especially trans rights.

Eli S (they/them)

Since joining TFF as a youth facilitator in 2023 Eli has been been continually struck by the deep love and intergenerational connection that defines the TFF community. Eli is excited to continue supporting TFF's families and youth as a member of the board.

OUR VOLUNTEERS

Volunteers are the backbone of our organization. We couldn’t do the work that we do without the generous time, resources, and donations that come from our community and supporters. From tabling at local events to collecting cash donations, we depend on unity and community to fund the financial and emotional parts of our organization.
